Find the help links on this page
Every page of this site, including this one, carries links to three independent gambling-help organisations: gambleaware.nsw.gov.au, gamblinghelponline.org.au and responsiblegambling.vic.gov.au. These are the only outbound links on the whole site that are not commercial. Unlike the operator links, they carry no sponsored marking, they are set to nofollow, and they open in a separate tab on the organisation's own website. This site receives nothing when a reader follows one of them. No further detail about what each organisation does is given here beyond that they are independent sources of help.
Decide your amount before you start
Set the amount you are willing to spend before you begin, and treat it as gone the moment you spend it. Deciding in advance removes the pressure of deciding in the moment, when a run of losses or wins can make the number feel different than it did beforehand. Money you have already mentally spent is easier to walk away from than money you are still hoping to win back.
Never chase a loss. A loss is a result, not a signal that a win is due. Trying to recover it usually means increasing the amount at stake, which raises what you have to lose rather than what you have already lost.
Keep gambling out of borrowed money and out of money set aside for other things. Spending money you do not have removes the boundary that a fixed, decided-in-advance amount is supposed to create.
Take breaks during a session rather than playing continuously. A break gives you a natural point to check whether you are still enjoying yourself or simply continuing out of momentum.
Involve someone else early, before gambling stops being entertainment. A person outside the situation can see a pattern more clearly than the person inside it, and raising it early is easier than raising it after a problem has grown.
Check listing pages for the age restriction and the destination warning
The eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout this build, including on the front page and at the end of every operator listing. Each of the ten operator listings closes with the same line: check availability and the current terms at the destination before claiming anything, because eligibility rules and terms apply there and can change without notice. Everything a reader can actually do with money happens after leaving this site — each operator link redirects to a third party, and from that point the destination's rules, checks and account controls apply, not anything published here.
Know where account controls actually live
Controls such as deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods or self-exclusion belong to an operator account. This build has no account, no form and no server-side application, so nothing published here can switch one of those controls on, check it or enforce it. A reader who wants any of them has to arrange it inside an account at the destination reached after following an operator link.
Understand what this page cannot verify
Nobody's age is verified on this site and no gambling takes place on it; any check of that kind happens at the destination, not here. No advertising or behavioural profiling network is present in these pages, so nothing here is targeted at a reader who has shown risky behaviour. This page cannot tell you whether you are gambling safely, and it cannot monitor, limit or pause anything you do after you leave it. What it can do is point to the three independent links above and describe, plainly, that any real control over deposits, losses, time or account access sits with the destination site, not with this one.
